Mark Hangen

Born and raised in Buffalo, Mark accumulated much sales experience prior to graduating from college. After earning a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Buffalo State College in 1992, Mark became a social studies teacher and a high school ice hockey coach in the Buffalo area. He also served as a volunteer coach for various youth sports teams and for the Special Olympics. Moving to Tampa in 1994, Mark spent the next six years teaching special education. Then, in 2000, he decided that real estate sales was his true calling. Since 2001, Mark has been a consistent Multi-Million Dollar Real Estate Top Producer. He is also an experienced real estate investor and since 2007, an expert on distressed properties. He has been able to help many families avoid bankruptcy and/or foreclosure by successfully negotiating favorable short sales for them. As a former educator, Mark has both the patience and ability to listen to the needs of his clients and then to coach them through all the steps of the home buying/selling process, making the entire process understandable and stress-free from start to finish.
