Originally from Detroit, Melanie relocated to Tampa in 2017 to care for her aging parents—a life experience that deeply shaped her calling. That journey led to the creation of The Probate Nurse, a real estate solutions and senior move company designed to guide families through some of life’s most difficult transitions with empathy, integrity, and expertise.

Melanie is a Registered Nurse, Realtor, Investor, Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and Certified Probate Advisor. She specializes in helping families manage inherited, distressed, or unwanted properties—whether due to probate, foreclosure, tax liens, code violations, or simply the need to sell quickly in "AS-IS" condition.  She works with executors of estates to find the best solutions for their real estate problems. 

As the founder of The Probate Nurse, Melanie leads a national network of trusted professionals who offer concierge-style support, from contract to close. Services include senior downsizing, organizing estate sales and home cleanouts, legal and financial referrals, probate cash advances, and senior living placement including independent, assisted or long-term care—everything a family might need during a major life transition. 

With over three decades of experience in healthcare and a deep understanding of the emotional and financial strain that comes with loss and change, Melanie combines heart and know-how to help clients, and their families feel supported every step of the way.
